DHCR has recently issued Update Number 1 to Operational Bulletin 2021-1 (dated 1/4/22) – “Reasonable Cost Schedule”.
This updated Reasonable Costs Schedule relates to Major Capital Improvements (MCI’s) and creates limitations and governing procedures on what can be recovered through an MCI rent increase.
We all know that supply chain delays have driven construction materials sky high. As part of the issuance of this update, DHCR is inviting any written submission for a three week period disputing the costs contained herein.
